Cool Irish weather attracts Google, new data centre announced

In a previous article I discussed the different energy requirements for heating and cooling in various Countries around the world, click here for link. One of the observations in this article was that Ireland had the least need for air conditioning (cooling) of any Country in the world. This cool climate has recently been very useful to enable Ireland to secure a substantial investment by Google. See extract below:
