Extension to Dublins Luas red line open, but is it too long?
Last Saturday saw the opening of a new section of the Dublin’s light rail system. The extension is 4 km long, runs between Belgard and Saggart Village and contains five new stops. Two of the stops contain park and ride facilities. I went along on the free open day to try it out. Continue reading

Road markings for merging traffic
I took the following photograph at the junction between the M50 and M1 outside Dublin, Ireland, traveling South bound. As you can see the traffic has to merge from two lanes to one lane before joining the M1 motorway.
